ELECTRONIC MUSIC COVID-19 INITIAL RESPONSE – GUIDING PRINCLIPLES FOR THE LIVE SECTOR

During the AFEM Live Sector Emergency Calls through March-May 2020, an action was raised to develop a community-sourced, values-driven report to help support the actions and decision-making of all parties involved in our deeply interconnected live sector when dealing with the impact of the COVID-19 crisis.

AFEM collaborated with Independent Electronic Forum (IEF) to produce this initial output which we are pleased to be able to share. Click the link below to access the full report:

ELECTRONIC MUSIC COVID-19 INITIAL RESPONSE – GUIDING PRINCIPLES FOR THE LIVE SECTOR.

Each business and individual operating within the electronic music live sector faces their own set of challenges in responding to the impact of the COVID-19 crisis. Staying true to positive values and principles which inspire solidarity are dominant themes in the survey responses upon which this report is based.

This response report brought together over 100 perspectives from across the industry, reflecting the diverse circumstances of stakeholders, and resulted in this set of guiding principles and best-practice suggestions.

If the principles outlined in the report resonate with you, please share and amplify the message. This document represents an initial attempt and response – if you would like to present ideas for consideration for future versions, please get in touch at membership@afemorg.net and hello@I-E-F.com
